In June and July 2021, the Colorado River Basin Actionable and Strategic Integrated Science and Technology (ASIST) pilot team held a series of 12 Science and Technology Collaboration meetings with U.S. Geological Survey science staff to discuss complex integrated science challenges and solutions related to drought in the Colorado River Basin. These meetings were structured to explore existing opportunities for co-production of science information, identify challenges experienced by participants when working in isolation on complex problems, and envision future collaborative efforts that leverage new technology.
