Field collections of Dipterans (flies) for genetic and seasonal monitoring

Description

My lab studies how insects adapt to variable environments to tolerate environmental extremes and to synchronize their life cycles with seasonal variability. In this project we will be collecting several fly species that we will use to establish lab lines for environmental manipulation experiments, and one species that we will use as one of many geographic samples in a larger study of adaptation across the landscape.
