H₂O₂ concentrations were determined by the chemiluminescence method using a flow injection FeLume system (Waterville Analytical, Waterville, ME). AE reagent of 5.0 µM at pH 3.0 was prepared each sampling day by dilution of a refrigerated AE stock solution (250 µM, pH 3.0) by adding 1.0 mM phosphate buffer (pH 3.0).
