   Searched Web of Science databases from January 1900 to December 31, 2016 using keywords including global change, climate change, free-air carbon dioxide enrichment, elevated atmospheric CO2, warming, elevated temperature, changing precipitation, increased/decreased precipitation, nitrogen deposition, and nitrogen application. Screened 107,920 publications by reading titles and abstracts.
