1. Nutrient limitation experiments
   Deployed nutrient diffusing substrates upstream and downstream at 10 sites in 2008. Incubated NDS in streams for 17 days and then frozen in film canisters for chlorophyll a extraction. Eight replicates of four treatments deployed: +Nitrogen (N), +Phosphorus (P), +Nitrogen and Phosphorus (N + P), and Control (C). Used KaNO3 for nitrogen additions and KH2PO4 for phosphorus additions. Added nutrients to agar at 0.5 M concentration.
