1. Establish individual rearing chambers
   All individuals were placed in individual rearing chambers in their native pond. Chambers were constructed from 10 cm window screen (20 cm × 20 cm) rolled into a tube and held together by duct tape and cable ties. Each chamber was then attached to Styrofoam insulation and floated on the surface of the pond such that the top half of each chamber was above the water line to allow the terrestrial adult to emerge.

2. Monitor emergence and collect adults
