SYNOPSIS This papers concerns the method of river-stage forecasting for the Colorado River and its principal tributaries, the Green, Grand, and San Juan Rivers. A brief description of the topographic features and courses of these streams is given. Attention is given to temperature conditions, as these to a large extend control the melting to the snows, which in turn make up much of the water supply. Two rating tables supplement text, covering the Green and the Grand Rivers respectively.—H. L.
