The skeletal remains of an adult male individual from the 5JF52 site was analyzed to the extent allowed by the condition of the bony skeleton. The analysis includes a description of the material, dentition, demographic information pertinent to age, sex, stature and race, and a complete analysis of metric and non-metric variation. A Stafne defect was found on the inferior margin of the mandible which is analyzed relative to other Archaic material. In addition, pathology is noted mostly in the vertebral column and anomalous cervical ribs were found on the seventh cervical vertebra with an associated display of disuse atrophy of the left humerus. The material was also x-rayed in order to supplement a growth inspection of this skeletal material. The results of the skeletal analysis compare favorably with other single male individuals from the same or near regions covering the same Archaic time period. Analysis of this skeletal material generally expands our knowledge of pathology and anomalies on Archaic material from Colorado.
