1. Manipulate floral orientation for seed set experiments
   Select flowering plants within natural populations and assign each plant to a floral orientation treatment (pendant, horizontal, or upright). Manipulate floral orientation by fitting one metal wire per stem per plant around a bent and looped metal wire inserted into the ground. Apply supplemental pollen to half the plants in each treatment using pollen from two different plants collected at least 3 m from the focal plant.
